I spoke to a lovely lady from SunWater's office in Bundaberg who told me they no longer manage the Borumba Dam facility and are trying to have the web-site of Aussie Camping changed. The contact for camping is now Col and Rosa Huddy of the Deer Park. 1133 Yabba Creek Rd Imbil Qld 4570 Ph - 07 5484 5196 Fax - 07 5484 6810 email - info@borumbadeerpark.com www.borumbadeerpark.com Happy camping ;-)

Lovely camping spot for the family. Clean amenities, friendly caretakers. Close to Dam for boating activities and or picnic or BBQ. NB/ NOT suitable for littlies as there is no shoreline. Firewood supplied at a fee. Tree's around for tent shade. Hot and Cold Showers, also another block with cold showers. Is starting to getting busy in peak times, so I would recommend you book ahead. There is a great IGA store in town for last minute forgotten items before you get to the camp grounds or if you want to stay a bit longer , is also has a bowser here for fuel. Is definately worth the drive out here off the Bruce Highway. Be considerate of the local fishing boaties however, as they like to fish whilst others like to ski.

Good short stay camping area. Firewood available for small camp fires at $15.00 bring your own if you want a camp fire. Very clean toilet and showers. Very friendly care taker. Nice walks to the Dam and small bush walk in the forest across from the camp sites, with some trees named. Our first caravan trip. Would recommend, as quite at the time we were there and you can even go to the other caravan park with the deer farm.
