south-west of Imbil, Lake Borumba surrounded by native and plantation
forests, is well stocked with fish including the endandgered and protected
mary River cod (which must be released if caught). The lake is also a
lungfish habitat. The campsite is located on the banks of Yabba Creek
below the dam wall.
