Australia's Camping Information Website, providing information on the many camping and caravan sites
around Australia.
Aussie Camping's goal is to list as many areas around Australia that have camping grounds (for those who like to camp under the stars) and caravan parks (for those who prefer a few modern day luxuries). We aim to provide information such as, whether the camp grounds are dog friendly; what activites, if any they supply; amenities that are available; if open fires are allowed etc.
We have a Tips and Hints page where
you can find some helpful camping tips. And, for links to travel, tourism and camping related sites, visit our Links page.
If you know of a great place to go camping that we don't have listed please send us the details so that we can add it to our directory. Likewise, if you have any useful camping tips that you'd like to share, please contact us and we will add them to our Tips and Hints page. |
Happy Camping,
Jim and Karen. |

Safety when Camping |
Lake Maroon Holiday Park - by Julia Morris. A wonderfully peaceful spot, inexpensive and well equipped. Heaps to do if you love mucking around in the great outdoors.4/5
- by John Morgan. We used this camp for a youth boot camp. An excellent venue for our small group and very reasonably priced. 4/5
Springbrook National Park - by Liz Brown. This is a beautiful oasis. The camping ground is a little small but they are opening a larger ground up this year. We really enjoyed this place and the waterfalls where pure gold. There are leaches but well worth the discomfort, when you see the breath taking scenery. I would recommend this in the wet seasons to take advantage of the waterfalls fall power. You can walk for hours and enjoy every minute. 5/5 |
